Ron Douglass
Ron Douglass specializes in softball hitting and fielding. Ron played fastpitch softball starting out with the Phase Alloy Miners in ASA (Amateur Softball Association) where he hit 24 homeruns in 45 games. He played with the Miners for two years before moving up to the International Softball Congress (ISC) where he played for 10 years with the Long Beach Nighthawks and Lakewood Brewers. He participated in give World Tournaments and was elected to the ISC All World Teams in 1986-87. He finished with a career average of .357, which included 15-20 homeruns in a 30-5- game season schedule each year. He has been an assistant coach at Canyon High School in Anaheim Hills for 14 years and recently joined the staff of the Orange County Lionettes 18U Gold Softball team. |
